Dr. Saker Ahmed Senior Advisor & SocioEconomist	Dr. Shaker Ahmed, a former Dhaka University professor with a Ph.D. in Economics (Econometrics in Management and Planning), has over 35 years of experience in research and consultancy. He has led 24 assignments as Team Leader, specializing in monitoring and evaluation, with extensive experience in designing systems, conducting surveys, and report writing. Dr. Ahmed has completed over 100 research and policy projects across various sectors, including agriculture, water resources, and socio-economic studies. He has also published more than 20 research-based articles and managed 12 international projects in Central Asia.
Dr. Shekh MD. Rezaul Islam Additional Secretary (Retired) & Agriculturist	Dr. Sk. Md. Rezaul Islam, a retired Additional Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh, holds a Ph.D. in Horticulture and advanced degrees in Agronomy and Agriculture. With a distinguished career in key ministries such as Textiles & Jute, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, and Finance, he has led numerous development projects since 2020, including as a Project Focal person when he was DG of IMED. Currently, he is a consultant leading a World Bank project. His commitment to professional growth includes international training in countries like Denmark, Germany, Australia, and the USA.
Dr. Md Abdul Latif Deputy Director (Retired) DAE & Agriculture Extension Specialist	Dr. Md. Abdul Latif, a renowned Agriculture Extension Specialist and IPM expert, holds a Ph.D. in Applied Entomology and advanced degrees in Agricultural Extension Education. With over 25 years of research and consultancy experience, he has led 09 assignments as Team Leader. Dr. Latif is a member of the Agricultural Extension Society of Bangladesh and Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh, and has extensive experience in designing systems, conducting surveys, and report writing in the agricultural sector.
Dr. Avijit Poddar Director Monitoring & Evaluation Expert	Dr. Avijit Poddar has 30 years of experience in social science, specializing in livelihood and gender studies. As a team leader, he worked on projects to increase women’s participation in energy employment and assess the impact of the National Urban Poverty Reduction Program (NUPRP). He also conducted a detailed study on the livelihoods of the poor, landless, and vulnerable in the Eastern Coastal Area, focusing on agriculture and marketing as a Socio-economist and Gender Expert.
Dr. Mohan Kumar Das Hydro-Meteorology Expert	Dr. Mohan Kumar Das has over 20 years of extensive experience in engineering, specializing in hydro-meteorology and climate science. He holds a Post Doc from the Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET, and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Germany, and a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on Meteorology from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Dr. Das has held notable positions including Hydro-meteorologist at the Bangladesh Water Development Board, Executive Director at the National Oceanographic and Maritime Institute (NOAMI), Senior Researcher and Project Manager at BUET’s Institute of Water and Flood Management, Climate Scientist at the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Early Warning System Specialist at the Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System in Bangkok, and Research Associate and Project Manager at BUET’s Climate Model and Simulation Lab.
Md. Matiur Rahman Urban Planner	Md. Matiur Rahman has over 35 years of extensive experience in the engineering field, having worked in roles such as Design Engineer, Construction Engineer, and Water Resources Engineer. His expertise spans Water Resources Planning, Hydraulic Design, Urban Planning, and Drainage Engineering. Mr. Rahman has led 15 assignments as a sector expert, focusing on monitoring and evaluation, and has a strong track record in designing systems, conducting surveys, and report writing. He holds an M. Engineering in Water Resources from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) (1999), a Post Graduate Diploma in Water Resources Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and BUET (1991), and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Khulna (1987).
Zahin M. Rafid Development Expert	Zahin M. Rafid started his career in the development sector as a development worker. He has 7 years of experience in social development fields. Mr. Rafid holds a professional Master’s degree in Development Studies from University of Dhaka. He worked for several development organization in diversified fields and she has gathered versed knowledge in the field of development covering multiple sectors. He has led 5 assignments as Study and Research Co-Ordinator, specializing in monitoring and evaluation, with extensive experience in designing systems, conducting surveys, and report writing.
Shamsun Nahar Sociologist	Shamsun Nahar has more than 12 years of experience in gender, women in development, and socio-economic aspects. In the course of her consultancy assignment, she worked on projects funded FAO, UNDP, UNICEF, ADB under DAE, LGED, IMED, FAO, UNDP etc. Her works also included activities in agricultural & rural development, environmental assessment & Planning, socio-economic assessment, etc.
Md. Shohidul Islam Infrastructure Development Expert	Mr. Shafiqul Islam has 40 years of experience in Infrastructure development. He undertook feasibility studies and impact studies of large number of projects undertaken by LGED. Some of his relevant works are: hydrological climatic data (ii) identifying requirement of village roads and market places (iv) preparing feasibility report (v) Design and drawing of hydraulic structures (vi) Preparing drawings and estimates and guiding feasibility study team and preparing reports.
SS Bakhat Hindol GIS Expert	S. S. Bakht Hindole is a GIS expert with a strong academic background, including a PGD in Computer Science and a Master’s in Development Studies and Agroforestry. He has completed advanced training in GIS, remote sensing, and applied statistics from Dhaka University. Additionally, he holds certifications in MIS and statistical techniques. With over 10 completed projects as a GIS expert, Hindole has extensive experience in data analysis, mapping, and spatial analysis.
Rebeka Sultana Design Engineer	Rebeka Sultana is a Hydraulic Structural Design Engineer with 7 years of experience. She holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from KUET and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Environmental Science at Jahangirnagar University. She has worked on the Small Scale Water Resources Development Project (Phase-2) and other projects like the Ganges-Kobadak Irrigation Project and the Irrigation Management Improvement Project.
Md. Sadequr Rahman Bhuiyan Water Resources Specialist	Md. Sadequr Rahman Bhuiyan is a Water Resources Specialist with 10 years of experience. He holds an M.Sc. in Water Resources Development from BUET and a B.Sc. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. He has worked as a Climate Change Specialist and Environmental Engineer at LGED.
